Patience's Ornaments on ABC's THE VIEW

Whoopi Goldberg is one of our favorite comediennes. Not only is she a "brainiac" and a wonderful actress, but she's also a Patience Brewster fan!

On December 11, she brought some PB ornaments to her daily program, "The View," saying, "I love them...because they're just fun!"

The really funny thing is that Whoopi mistakenly referred to Patience as "Prudence Brewster," which threw everyone here for a loop!

It made Patience laugh, though, saying, "It's retribution. I spelled her name wrong in my email to her!"

Whoopi was mortified when she realized what happened. In her email to us she said, "OMG!!! My bad! I wanted to get it in so much I was talking toooo fast... I'm going to take one of her reindeer ornaments in as soon as they come in and I can amend it on air. Sorry sorry sorry.-Whoopi"

Isn't she amazing? No problemo here! It means so much to us that she took the time to show her audience the "Twelve Lords (frogs) A-Leaping" ornament from Patience's "Twelve Days of Christmas" collection.

This collection has been sold out by Dept. 56, but Patience is re-introducing the first four days in 2009 in her own ornaments company. She'll then re-release the remaining 12-Days ornaments in groups of four over the next two years.
